Nikhil is a Cloud & Kafka Engineer who is passionate about architecting scalable, resilient, high performance distributed systems.

Currently, he works as an Infrastructure Consultant for a global investment banking firm on a team that runs mission critical messaging machines deployed in a hybrid on-prem & cloud environment.

In a previous life, Nikhil was a lead software engineer at an animal first bio-technology startup bridging the gap between state of the art monitoring tech and animal healthcare. He led a team in developing backend solutions to enable remote data extraction from the firms flagship tele-triage application. 

In addition to this, he led multiple prototype research and development projects on database modelling, microservices design, backend infrastructure and cross-platform mobile applications. Read more here
